Not all loose fits are the same.
Boxy and oversized silhouettes are often grouped together, but they serve different purposes both visually and functionally.
Boxy fits are wider through the body with a shorter length. They create structure through proportion rather than tailoring. Cropped boxy tees feel deliberate, balanced, and modern.
Oversized fits, on the other hand, prioritize length and volume. They drape lower, hang heavier, and lean into comfort and movement.
At Nairäd we use both, intentionally.
Boxy fits are bold. Oversized fits are fluid. Neither is better. They simply communicate differently.
Understanding fit is about knowing how you want to move through the world. Do you want presence? Ease? Edge?
